Sarah Cowan is currently an art student and part time bookshop assistant who lives in the north English countryside.
Her love of nature and animals has always fuelled her passions for art. Her love of books and music also inspires her. The surreal and unknown also fire her curiosity, such as folklore, spirituality, legend and the magic of the modern world, which can be found if you look hard enough.
One of her favorite subjects to draw is anthropomorphic animals (that's making them look human, similar to the concept of were-creatures) which has been inspired by artists across the globe. Her subject matter can change from snow leopards to avocados.
She enjoys working mostly in mixed media, consisting of watercolour, pencil crayon and acrylic. She can create acrylic canvases or graphics using computer art programs.
She hopes one day to be a hired illustrator or graphic designer.
